Acknowledgement of Traditional Custodians

We pay our respects to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ancestors of this land, their spirits and their legacy. The foundations laid by these ancestors give strength, inspiration and courage to current and future generations, both First Nations and non-First Nations peoples, towards creating a better Queensland.

Overview

Experience a hands-on taster workshop of theatre production. Step behind the curtain to discover what happens backstage to bring a performance to life.

Led by members of the QPAC’s Production Team, you can choose between workshops in Lighting, Staging, Stage Management, Audio or Wardrobe. Learn from our resident experts about the history, skills and challenges of each specialism, including the opportunity to try it out for yourself!

The workshops end with an activation of the stage space by the QPAC Technical Team, demonstrating how the elements come together to create the magic of theatre!

Find out more information on the workshops below.
