Acknowledgement of Traditional Custodians

We pay our respects to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ancestors of this land, their spirits and their legacy. The foundations laid by these ancestors give strength, inspiration and courage to current and future generations, both First Nations and non-First Nations peoples, towards creating a better Queensland.

What to wear

It's not necessary to dress up to come to QPAC, although guests may like to dress for a special occasion. Generally, smart casual dress is perfect. As our theatres are air-conditioned, you may want to bring a light wrap or jacket, especially during Brisbane's summer weather.

  • Drop Off/Loading Zones

The Russell St drop-off zones are currently under traffic control and will allow access for vehicles to drop off patrons with accessibilities needs. An alternate drop-off zone close to Russell St (with pedestrian access to the Playhouse) is in place on Grey St opposite the ABC Building near Olio Café at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. Those with specific access needs may be provided with access dependent on construction activities.
